ROBERT WALE

Rob [Roberto] Wale`s passion for art developed in the 60s and 70s during the surf, hippie and transcendental meditation period. This has provided Roberto with a depth of artistic experience and ideas developed during this very colourful and dynamic period. Early art & design activities included surfboard designs, vintage surf culture cartoons and psychedelic artworks.

Rob is the Principle of the Wale ART Designs organisation and is still inspired by works of the old & new Masters [i.e., Brett Whiteley, Pablo Picasso, Joan Miro and Vincent van Gogh]. His individual style is represented in his Surf & Beach culture and abstract seascapes artwork as well as his colourful and striking Abstract artworks inspired by these Masters.

Rob has utilised his technical skills to create unique abstract artworks around famous destinations in Europe, Asia, Australia and Pacific Islands. He incorporates a structured abstract technique and encompassing colour as his main theme. Now based in Australia`s famous seaside town of Manly surrounded by a magnificent ocean, waves, fine sand and an extensive variety of sea life, native flora and unique animals.
