Exhibits
Each fully paid exhibiting member may submit one artwork (we cannot accept the following: digital art or installations).

Exhibition selection
The committee will endeavour to hang as many works as possible, and to do this, we have limited the size of entries. Entries will not be selected if they exceed the size restrictions, do not have ‘D’ rings attached, or are culturally insensitive. Artists will be notified if they have not been hung, prior to opening night.

Size and preparation of work
The maximum size is a width of 50cm, and a height of 50cm, including any frames. The size for unframed works on canvas are edge-to-edge of the stretcher, whose sides should be neatly painted.
All work must be dry and ready for hanging.
Two ‘D’ rings must be attached to the back of the work, about 1/3 of the way down from the top, one on either side. Make sure they are level. All sharp protrusions are to be covered so as to avoid damaging the walls.

Please include the following information on the back of the work: name, contact number, title of work, medium, price (and GST if applicable).

Commission
A commission of 25% will be charged by the Mosman Rowers on all sales. Payments to artists will be made by Mosman Rowers, within two weeks after the close of the exhibition.

Submission forms
There are no exhibition fees. To exhibit you must be a fully paid-up exhibiting member of the Society.

Artwork Image
A good quality image of your artwork is required by Mosman Rowers for their online sales, and must be emailed to [email protected]
This file must be no larger than 3MB. Please do not include the frame in your image.
The due date for this is also 28th September, 2026.

Delivery
Receipting day is between 3pm – 6pm on Monday 19th October, 2026. Deliver works to the Archie Bear Café, Mosman Rowers, 3 Centenary Drive, Mosman, NSW (please do not arrive early as the venue operates as a café and we are not able to start receipting). Works cannot be accepted outside of this time. Please make arrangements for delivery if you are unable to deliver within this period.

Collection of unsold work
The secretary will notify you if your work has been sold.
Unsold works must be collected from the Archie Bear Café, Mosman Rowers, on 23rd November from 3pm – 6pm. Please do not arrive earlier as Rowers staff will be unable to remove your work without authorisation.
Please arrange collection, if necessary, as works cannot be stored at the club.

Responsibility
The Mosman Rowers and Mosman Art Society will take all care but bear no responsibility for the works and all matters relating to the exhibition. Artists should arrange their own insurance. Works are being hung in a café and restaurant environment.

Exhibition Opening
The opening night is Tuesday 20th October, 6.30pm in the Archie Bear Café, Mosman Rowers.
An invitation will be sent out in due course.

Promotion
Coverage will be provided in the Rowers website, newsletters and EDM (electronic direct mail), as well as Mosman Art Society social media.
