Lorraine Gumbert has been a musician all her life and she took up painting in 2008. Her paintings are full of vibrant colour and highlight her love of country, rocks, trees, and water. She lives in Seaforth and spends much of her time in the Wollemi National Park.
Exhibiting member of the Mosman Art Society and Forest Art Group.
Warringah Art Show (Northern Beaches ), Seaforth Art Show, and Pittwater Art Society.
Several solo exhibitions.
She has received several awards and prizes and her work is held both in Australia and overseas.
