Sheila Mirczuk 
 
I grew up in Yorkshire and went to Art College in London. My career was in Graphic Design, and I became Head of Creative for the GUS group of catalogues. We lived in Worcestershire for 20 years before moving back to Yorkshire.
 
Since retirement I have taken commissions for people portraits and pet portraits. I love painting faces, detail and fabrics. I like to attend workshops and develop my skills. I also enjoy painting landscapes (but they often have a person in them!) 
 
Recently my husband and I relocated to the Northern Beaches, as our two sons and their growing families are now Australian citizens. We have a daughter living in Hong Kong.
 
I am enjoying meeting other artists, the different preferred subject matter - more bright and colourful - here in Australia!
