NOVEMBER 5TH (follow up on 12th) BALMORAL NORTH We meet at
930 on the north side of the Balmoral Beach Club on the grass area near the end
of the reserve between the beach and the Esplanade. Marvellous view through the
Heads, otherwise the sweeping curve of beach
DECEMBER 3RD (follow up on 10th) WYARGINE POINT At the north end of Edwards Beach (the northern beach of Balmoral past the Beach Club). Park in Burran Avenue and walk down the bush track through the reserve to the beach or park (before 9 am is advisable) in the Esplanade near the Beach Club. We can paint or draw the attractive trees, and bush or focus on the beach and the rocks. Then there is the view out to North Head or Grotto Point. This place is well worth the effort . Meet at the end of the beach at 9.30. |
All members are always most welcome to come and join us. Come whenever you can. We meet at 9.30am, decide upon suitable subjects and finish around 12.30 but otherwise come when you can and leave when you must. If it's raining at 9.15 we have access to the Julian Ashton Art School Studio Building no 17 Headland Park off Middle Head Road (opposite Cobbittee St) instead of the nominated locality for the day.
